March saw the return of the Worcestershire Advance Question Time debate, again held at the Wychavon Council Civic Centre. It was held outside of Worcestershire over in Pershore and was a great success.
We were lucky to be joined by another esteemed panel consisting of:
- Jabba Riaz (the Mayor of Worcester)
- Chris Walklett (Bishop Fleming Accountants)
- Charlotte Thornton-Smith (Harrison Clark Rickerbys)
- Phoebe Dawson (Worcester BID)
- Chris Brooks (Wychavon Council)
- Ross Matthews (Agility Group)
There was some avid debate which was well summarised on our Twitter feed as the audience heard the panel’s views on four different topics:
- What could other counties learn from Worcestershire’s business community?
- Brexit – how will it impact on Worcestershire?
- Worcestershire’s infrastructure – housing and transport
- What can Worcestershire do to help more young people thrive in the county?
A huge thank you to our sponsors, Harrison Clark Rickerbys and to the panel for giving up their time for the event which will almost certainly return in 2020.
