Community

We help members find business mentors, community engagement opportunities, and ways to get involved in charitable causes across Worcestershire.

I wanted to set up Worcestershire Advance to help bring talented individuals together to showcase why Worcestershire is a great place in which to learn your trade, develop your career, or come to work. I also wanted to help those future business owners and leaders find ways in which to invest their time and energy into our local community.
Chris Orr – Individual Banking Manager, Handelsbanken

I feel it’s important to promote Worcestershire to both the business and local community. The opportunity to be involved in a project such as Worcestershire Advance will help me give back to the community and being part of a group that wants to accomplish something is really rewarding.
– Jennifer Appleton – Operations Director, ISO Quality Ltd.

I have decided to join Worcestershire Advance for a variety of reasons, firstly as I look to progress my own personal career. Secondly, and arguably more importantly I want to help to spread the word that Worcestershire is a great place to work and network and to help other people climb their own career ladder.
– James Howard – Accounts Manager, Haines Watts
