Thanks to everyone who came to our Cyber Security event, it was a great turn out and it was really nice to get some great feedback from the presentation. We learned about the origins of cyber crime, what motivates people to commit it, and what forms it takes. We also looked at some real-world examples of cyber crime, and some of the common forms to watch out for. We also looked at some ways to prevent or mitigate cyber crime, and we even did some on the spot hacking checks to see if anyone had been hacked recently.
In addition to the cyber chat, we also enjoyed some fabulous pizzas courtesy of the Oil Basin on Copenhagen Street, and we were very kindly hosted by the super guys at the Kiln – Worcester’s brand new co-working space, which was an absolutely perfect venue for an evening event like this.
